Papertake challenge card.

Maddy recently introduced me to another challenge blog, Papertake Weekly Challenge.

Vowing to get over this thing i have about making cards (a very traumatic time for me and everyone around me lol), i decided to have a go at the challenge.....
.

.
I kept it simple, with little to think about as far as colour matching was concerned...that way nothing got thrown in my craft room and Maddy was tempted to throttle me!

I enjoyed making this card, it was a nice simple sketch to work to....i even did my machine stitching pretty straight too!
.

A few little blob things (i think that's the technical term for them) for decoration and a bit of lace here and there and hey presto.....one card by Calv! :)
.

.
Thank you to the team at Papertake Weekly Challenge, i will certainly be back for more challenges in the future.

Bye for now. :)

That card is a real triumph Calv! I love the way you've coloured and the attention to detail is second to none! Glad to hear that all around you were safe and that nothing was harmed during the making of the card!! lol!!

Well Done Calv. Another beautiful hand-made card. Your colours go beautifully together & your colouring is superb. I see your quite a dab hand with a sewing machine too...x

Wow thank you everyone for the kind comments, they are most welcome.

I don't know why i stress over it either lol, but if you've ever sat there in front of your workspace and have a total blank....well thats how i am before every card lol!

Glad you like the sewing Gez, i'm not an expert by any means, but i've always used a machine for basics like curtains, basic clothes altering and the likes. Seems a waste not to transfer it to crafting! :)

Nice one Calv.
I'm another one that only does cards under duress, and I know exactly what you mean about being blank, I should be making a card but I'm procrastinating as usual instead and hoping something comes up.
